Although its shops are now all over the world, Truefitt & Hill is the oldest barbershop in the world founded in 1805 by William Francis Truefitt. It even received the prestigious Royal Warrant from King George III. In addition to being still frequented today by members of the royal family, over the years they had clients of the caliber of Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra, Charles Dickens and many other celebrities. The fragrance, inspired by "Palmerson Bouquet" of 1850, was revisited in 1999 and renamed 1805 to commemorate the year in which the most ancient world barbershop in London.
