The Rockstead Ryo H-Zdp knife has the profile of the Higonokami blade, the knife emblem in Japan and the convex shape "Honzukuri".

The Japanese house Rockstead is a knives factory that performs semi-artisan work. The production of Rockstead knives is in fact made with the highest quality machinery, while the cleaning, polishing and sharpening treatments are carried out exclusively by hand. Unlike all knives (even those of high quality) Rockstead products differ in their wonderful quality in sharpening, finishing and in the steels used.

SHARPENING

The sharpening performed on the Rockstead knives is the same one carried out on the Japanese katanas. The classic sharpening of Japanese katanas is called HONZUKURI, while the one applied to Rockstead products is called KATAKIRIBA. The discovery and use of this wonderful sharpening is due to a study tested over time with the Japanese katanas.

FINISH

The mirror finish of the Rockstead Knives is unique to the blade edge. This type of treatment can only be found in Rockstead knives. If we analyze the blade of these knives under a microscope, we realize that the treatment is uniformly smooth, while in other knives (even those of good quality) always of the "lines".
