The Lion Steel TM1 Knife is the novelty presented in 2014 by the maniago house and presents different versions with combinations of handles of different material and blades with different treatments. This model of TM1 has the handle in Micarta machined from solid with technological milling systems. For this characteristic, the knife is among the solid and indestructible models of Lion Steel Solid Knives.

The blade is in Satin Sleipner Steel and has been designed by the famous Molletta cutler. It has a very special design with a tip shape that sits between a tactical knife and a work knife. Also on the rotation movement of the blade we find a great novelty: IKBS. This system is more commonly called ball bearings and consists of placing them between the handle and the blade so as to have a very fluid opening and therefore also easy and fast.

The Lion Steel TM1 has a slightly revised Back Lock (pump block) on the blade block: analyzing the knife internally we find a double spring that allows it to work and makes the system softer and longer lasting than the classic version.

On the bottom is a retractable clip (allows the knife to not be seen when you have it in your pocket) reversible, which together with the opening pin makes a knife ambidextrous. To stop the Lion Steel TM1 clip there is a tungsten carbide-tipped frangivetro. Everything is contained in a Lion Steel cardboard box.
