FULCRUM Probably a milestone among multi-role knives. During the preparation of this important mission, the Alpine Troops Command coordinated a team of companies in the realization of a complete and renewed experimental individual equipment. Extrema Ratio is a company that the Alpine Troops Command has selected and contacted for the development of a multirole suitable for line infantry, a knife that could be used at all latitudes and that successfully fulfill any type of problem that most equipment specialists could not solve. The success has been such that the multirole has given way to the development of the Bayonet Fulcrum, of equal characteristics but can be grafted onto the order rifle. The Fulcrum is an extremely robust and versatile knife, the blade holds breaking loads above 150Kg, the tip is very robust and the "much" profile allows you to work long with the knife without affecting the sharpening of the last section, which guarantees , together with the partial dorsal sharpening (the civil version is not sharpened on the back) to maintain the penetration capacity necessary for close combat against targets covered by heavy clothing, buffets and soft ballistic protections. The advanced barycentre and the weight of the blade make it suitable for heavy field work. The new rigid automatic sheath, allows comfortable transport in safety and the loop that surrounds the upper part of the handle drastically reduces its impervability, even in the event of a parachuted launch. The speed and ease of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance contribute to make Fulcrum an excellent choice for large-scale use also from an economic / administrative point of view.
