Description

This knife is the non-automatic version (N.A.) of the already famous Caimano Nero that Extrema Ratio, official supplier to the Comsubin, developed for G.O.I. (Gruppo Operativo Incursori) of the Italian Navy. Named in honour of the heroic Black Caimans of the Piave, a unit of Arditi of the Regia Marina and other components on a voluntary basis, who during the First World War swam across the Piave to carry out raids in enemy territory. The spear point blade is made of MIL-C-13924 burnished N690 steel with a serrated section for cutting cables and high resistance fabrics. You can open it by opening pin or flipper, for a quick and fluid movement. Extrema Ratio's liner lock and back lock systems allow it to be used in total safety. The handle is made of thick but light anodised anticorodal aluminium. To make it easier to take the knife out of the pocket, the final part recalls the shape of the Helix/Timon assembly of the slow running torpedo (S.L.C.). It also features a DLC-coated titanium clip that can be positioned at three different angles. In the final part there is a hard material glass breaker.
