The Dobermann IV S600 is the evolution of the famous K1 Dobermann knife by Extrema Ratio. Since 1997 this model has undergone several changes to keep up with the latest technologies and materials. Like its predecessor, the Dobermann IV S600 is a multi-purpose fixed blade knife suitable for camping, survival, hunting and, of course, military use. Its characteristics make it perfect for these works, such as in survival for batoning and chopping.
The drop point blade is made of S600 steel and has a central "recurved blade" profile. The chemical composition of this steel, never used in other models, gives an unprecedented resistance to wear and cutting capacity. This is thanks to cobalt, vanadium, tungsten, mobildeno and chromium. Due to the presence of 4.5% of chromium this steel is oxidizable, for this reason the "Exp Dark" teflon coating of the Extrema Ratio has been applied to the blade. The handle is in green forprene with windbreak and loop for cord in the final part. It comes with a green cordura thigh sheath with M.O.L.LE. system and adaptable for left- and right-handed.
