Description

This machete is part of Extrema Ratio's new Expeditions series. Always at the forefront of tactical tools, the Maniago-based company has designed, in collaboration with F.I.S.S. (Federazione Italiana Survival Sportivo e Sperimentale) Master Instructor Daniele Dal Canto, the Kreios Expeditions, a direct derivation of the famous Kreios model.
Defined by its creator as the "off-road" of cutting tools, the Kreios Expeditions is dedicated to exploration professionals who need a versatile tool, while maintaining the high quality of all the tactical tools that Extrema Ratio supplies to the military special forces. The combination of modern materials and traditional Malaysian and African lines creates a tool that is ideal for breaking through vegetation, but also makes an excellent ally in defence/offence situations. Ergonomic and sturdy, the blade is made of N690 steel with the typical MIL-C-13924 burnishing and Dark Stone finish. The "full flat" talgium and 11° forward inclination are characteristics that give it extraordinary cutting capabilities and a solidity that is not afraid of flexing. The handle is made of desert-coloured forprene.
It comes with a desert cordura sheath with M.O.L.L.E. system and strap, a mini pouch containing paracord with flammable filament and a Firesteel for lighting the fire.
