The Viper Orion VA4874CB knife is a limited edition of the Viper built with Damascus steel blade and Cocobolo wood handle. It's a new 2014 marked by the Maniago house and presents a wonderful line, ideal as a hunting knife or outdoor.
Damascus steel used for the Viper Orion is high carbon content and high contrast. A steel with these characteristics presents an aesthetics and an excellent cut, with an unrivaled sharpening facility, but it needs a maintenance to make sure that it does not oxidize. The main points are to clean, wash and dry the knife after each use and never leave the knife inside the sheath for long periods of inactivity.
The handle of the Viper Orion Damascus Knife presents a beautiful Cocobolo wood which enhances its contrast with the damascatura of the blade. The shape of this is studied to obtain an excellent ergonomics that facilitates many jobs during use.
The knife comes with a wooden box in which the logo of the Viper Knives house has been inlaid with a certificate that identifies the limited edition knife number
