Viper Magà Micarta V5912CA knife

The Viper Magà knife with Micarta handle is the model V5912CA that unlike other Viper Magà knives presents the smooth edge. The material used for the blade is N690Co steel with Stone Washed treatment.

The Viper Magà was created with the intention of creating a multipurpose combat knife from the Viper maniago knife factory. To achieve this goal was called the Israeli designer Boris Manasherov, martial art instructor Krav Magà.

The Magà knife presents important innovations for the Maniago house on all sides: methods of opening, handle and movement of the blade.

On the Micarta handle we find a reversible stainless steel clip, so that it can be mounted on both sides and spherical shaped milling that allow the rotation of the knife in different positions with the use of one hand.

The most important news, however, we find on the movement: on the Viper Magà knife there are, instead of the classic bushings, the stainless steel ball bearings that make the movement of the knife smooth and effective both in opening and closing.

The methods of opening the Magà are 3: one-hand, pinball and in extraction from the pocket. The first one can be used both with the right hand and with the left hand thanks to the non - slip workings on the blade which allow the opening of the knife with both hands.

The pinball opening method, on the other hand, is facilitated by the movement on ball bearings and is operated, with the knife closed, by the classic flip placed on the back of the handle. By operating this opening method we can open the knife with simplicity and speed.

The last method of opening the Viper Magà is in extraction from the pocket and takes place thanks to the particular design of the blade. Above the processing for the one-hand opening we find a curve in the design of the blade that allows us to hook the knife to the pocket of the trousers and open it in extraction.
