Kasumi Kuro Utility 14 cm

The new Kuro knives are developed by combining the best technologies from over a decade of experience in the production of Kasumi series knives. Handmade using the skills of cutlery specialists, they are crafted in the same way as traditional Japanese swords. The blade is made of high-carbon Damascus molybdenum vanadium steel (AUS8), produced by bending 32 layers of steel and then forging it. The blade also has a hammered finish that prevents food from sticking to it. The handle is made of black laminated wood and features the classic design of Japanese knives, i.e. it is octagonal in shape.

Due to the high carbon content in the steel of the blade, it is strongly recommended to keep the knife dry at all times to prevent rust.
