This knife was born from the request of the Tuscania Paratroopers Regiment to the Extreme Ratio of a knife to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the battle of Eluet El Asel. In that place on December 19, 1941, about 400 men from the 1st Royal Carabinieri Battalion Paratroopers faced the assault of 4 battalions of Indian troops of the British Army. Jumping from their trenches by launching improvised devices, the "Desert Lions", as Radio London called them, made the defensive line impenetrable by allowing thousands of Italian-German troops to withdraw safely. This was the first page in the long history of Italian paratroopers.
The T911 is a light and durable folding knife designed for professional military use. The flat edge blade is a modified spear point, heat treated N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC and a Stone Washed finishing. It rotates on an adjustable pin which gives greater fluidity in the opening phase, which is via a pin operated with the thumb. The locking system is a liner lock and a secure. The handle is made of high-strength black anodized Anticorodal aluminum and shaped for ease of transition between reverse and saber grip.. The handle also includes a belt cutter with easily available and replaceable cutter-type blade, a tungsten glass breaker, a stainless steel folding marlin-spike , a flat screwdriver in AISI 420 steel, meant to help in rifle scope adjustment and a reversible clip .
